Booking Terms and Conditions
1. Booking Confirmation
All bookings made through the Booking Aggregator platform, used by the Pemberton Visitor Centre and its associated businesses to offer accommodation, tours, and other bookable experiences, are only confirmed once payment is received in full. Until full payment is processed, the booking remains available for other customers.
2. Payment Terms
Payments for all bookings (accommodation, tours, or other experiences) are processed through our secure third-party payment gateway.
- The total cost of the booking must be paid in full at the time of booking.
3. Cancellation Policy
Cancellations are subject to the specific cancellation terms and conditions provided by the accommodation, tour, or experience provider at the time of booking. These terms will be clearly communicated before the booking is finalised.
- In the event of a cancellation request, any cancellation fees imposed by the provider will be deducted from the total refund amount.
- The Booking Aggregator, on behalf of the Pemberton Visitor Centre, will also withhold a cancellation fee to cover card processing and administrative costs. This fee will be calculated as follows:
- For Australian-issued cards: 1.6% of the total booking amount plus $0.60.
- For non-Australian-issued cards: 3.4% of the total booking amount plus $0.60.
- Refunds will only be processed to the original card used for the payment and may take up to 10 working days, depending on the customer’s bank processing times.
4. Amendments to Bookings
Any changes to bookings (e.g., date changes, participant changes, or upgrades) are subject to availability and the specific terms of the provider. Any additional costs or charges resulting from amendments must be paid in full.
5. Liability
- The Pemberton Visitor Centre, its staff, board of management, volunteers, and associated businesses act as facilitators for bookings through the Booking Aggregator platform. While we strive to ensure a seamless booking process, we are not responsible for the quality or standards of the accommodation, tours, or experiences provided, nor for any issues arising from these services.
- In cases of overbooking or service failure, the provider is responsible for resolving the issue. The Pemberton Visitor Centre will assist where possible but accepts no liability for any resulting inconvenience or cost.
6. Customer Responsibilities
- Customers must provide accurate information when making a booking. Any errors or inaccuracies may result in the booking being delayed, altered, or cancelled.
- Customers must comply with the rules, regulations, and safety instructions provided by the accommodation, tour, or experience provider during their stay or activity. Failure to do so may result in additional charges, exclusion from the activity, or eviction without a refund.
7. Force Majeure
The Pemberton Visitor Centre, its staff, board of management, volunteers, associated businesses, and the Booking Aggregator are not liable for any failure to perform their obligations due to events beyond their reasonable control (e.g., natural disasters, government restrictions, or emergencies).
8. Agreement to Terms
By completing a booking through the Booking Aggregator platform, the customer acknowledges and agrees to these terms and conditions.
9. Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Western Australia (WA). Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms will be resolved in accordance with WA legal provisions.
